Product Name: Hydroxyethyl acrylate(HEA)Cas no:818-61-1 Chemical Formula: C5H8O3 Application: Hydroxyl functional acrylic monomers can be used in a variety of ways to produce resins that are useful in high performance coating applications. Using typical methods for the polymerization of ethylenically unsaturated monomers, hydroxyethyl acrylate (HEA) can be used to attach hydroxyl groups to an acrylic polymer backbone. The pendant hydroxyl groups can then act as sites for reaction with a variety of cross-linking agents. HEA allows faster curing cycles and/or reduced baking temperatures, compared with hydroxyalkyl methacrylates. Also HEA can be formulated at higher solids in coating applications. Hydroxyethyl acrylate is mainly used in the production of thermosetting coatings, adhesives, fiber treatment agents and modifiers of synthetic resin copolymers
Hydroxyethyl acrylate is mainly used as active diluent and crosslinking agent in radiation curing system. Hydroxyethyl acrylate can be used in the manufacture of resin acrylate containing active hydroxyl; Hydroxyethyl acrylate can be used in the coating industry and epoxy resin, diisocyanate, melamine formaldehyde resin and other configurations for the preparation of two-component coating; Hydroxyethyl acrylate can be used in the production of polycarboxylic Acid water reducer slump protection agent;Hydroxyethyl acrylate is mainly used for manufacturing thermosetting acrylic coating, light curing acrylic coating, photosensitive coating, adhesive, textile treating agent, paper processing, water quality stabilizer and polymer material, etc. It has the characteristic of using less, but can improve the product performance significantly.
