Character: Pure H3PO2 is colorless crystal. Density is 1.493(19° C) and melting point is 26.5° C. It can be mixed with water in any proportion. It is a formidable reducer easily to be oxidized. If heated to 130-140° C, acid without water will be resolved into pH3 and H3PO4.



Application:

1: Used as alkyd, antioxidant and depigment agent.

2: Reducer.

3: To make into hypophosphite, such as Sodium hypophosphite, calcium hypophosphite, manganese hypophosphite and ferrum hypophosphite, etc.

Storage: Keep hermetic.
