Barium sulphate is made from mineral barite. The white opaque appearance and its high density are exploited in its main applications. Nowadays, barium sulphate becomes the advantaged Chinese export product which is widely used in many areas. Application:
1. As a weighting agent for drilling fluids in oil and gas exploration.
2. Used in the car, electronics, TV screen, rubber, and glass ceramics and paint industry.
3. As surface smear for photographic paper and calendered paper, as sizing agent for textile industry.
4. As clarifying agent for glass products.
5. Radiation shielding and medical applications, also used for ceramics, enamel, perfumes and pigments.

Ø Superfine. (particle size distribution is narrow and even.)
Ø Impurity free.
Ø High whiteness.
Ø Excellent dispersibility.
Ø Not easy to agglomerate.

Ø Low oil absorption.
Ø High activation grade. (more than 98%)
Recommended Applications:
This kind of barium sulphate is recommended for powder coating with smooth surface effect, glossiness 90-100°. Using this kind of modified barium sulphate, the paint manufacturer can add 3-5% more filler. It can be also applied in other paint, plastic, and rubber etc field. As filler, it ensure good compatibility for organice mater, and it can also increase filler content.
Remark:
Above natural Baso4 is our standard model. we can produce different natural Baso4 according to customers' requirement. With different purity 75%-94%, different particle size 200mesh-6000mesh, different whiteness, 80%-92%.
